Prescription diclofenac topical gel is used to relieve osteoarthritis pain in the joints.In this present study it can be concluded that topical gel formulations containing drug Diclofenac sodium were prepared with different concentration of gelling agents (carbopol-940/934/ HPMC 3K), which have shown an acceptable results in various studies.This basic study comprise with the preformulation work and characterization of prepared gel formulations.
