Biografische Anmerkung

Urea Super Granule (USG) application in paddy filed is an innovative technology to reduce the nitrogen fertilizer losses in the field. Manual application of USG in the paddy field is a time consuming and laborious work, so USG applicator is demanded by the rice grower. Different models of USG applicator were developed by the scientist of Bangladesh, but these model had some problem regarding their performance like higher missing rate and uncomfortable to push the applicator. All of the available USG applicator was collected and selected the best one based on laboratory test. The best model was re-designed and most of the problems were solved and filed performance of the applicator was satisfactory.



Md. Shamim Ahamed son of Late Abdur Rashid Bapery and Rowshnara Begum was born in 1987,Barisal, Bangladesh.He has Completed his graduation and post-graduation from Bangladesh Agricultural University. He joined in Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, as lecturer of the Department of Agricultural and Industrial Engineering.
