This book presents an overview of theory and recent advances concerning the shadowing function, an important element in the simulation and calculation of electromagnetic waves scattering at randomly rough surfaces.
Christophe Bourlier is at the IETR Laboratory (Institut d'Electronique et de Télécommunications de Rennes) at polytech Nantes (University of Nantes, France). He works as a Researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) on electromagnetic wave scattering from rough surfaces and objects for remote sensing applications and Radar signatures. He is the author of more than 200 journal articles and conference papers.
