Alan Katz spent the last four decades writing for television, print, advertising and stage productions. He is a six-time Daytime Emmy nominee (and loser) for his work on shows including The Rosie O'Donnell Show, The Tony Danza Show, The Grammy Awards, and The Tony Awards, plus many game shows and animated series. Alan is also the author of more than 40 highly acclaimed children's books, including the multi-million selling Take Me Out of the Bathtub and Other Silly Dilly Songs, OOPS!, Really Stupid Stories for Really Smart Kids, Awesome Achievers in Technology, and Don't Say That Word! He has also written many adult humor books, and his work has appeared in The New York Times, The New York Daily News, and other publications. Alan is the father of four wonderful kids, all now adults. He happily welcomes them for short visits.
Craig Orback has illustrated many books for young readers, including Gifts from the Enemy and The Can Man, among others. His work has also appeared in children's magazines and school textbooks. He lives with his family in Seattle.
