He lives in San Francisco. Doug Chiang is an Academy Award®–winning artist, author, and production designer. He left Lucasfilm in 2002 to form his own design studio, IceBlink Studios. Chiang returned to Lucasfilm in 2013 to work on Star Wars: The Force Awakens and currently serves as Lucasfilm VP and executive creative director.
