John Reed was born and raised in Seattle where he studied the biological and physical sciences in college before receiving a commission from the US Navy. In 2002 the Navy assigned him to investigative duties. This is where John found his professional calling. After completing his military obligation John was hired by the US Treasury Department where he gained eight years of investigative experience, and he affiliated with Naval Intelligence in the Reserves. His deployments include counter improvised explosive device and director level management in the Intelligence field. He served for six years as the head of security for all intelligence programs in the US Navy's Pacific Fleet region.
