Based on a five-year research project, this book explores the development and practice of the puhui (¿¿) early care and education (ECE) program in China, a national public-benefit policy initiated in 2010.

Yong Jiang, PhD, is a professor at the Faculty of Education, East China Normal University, Shanghai. His main research areas include early childhood education theory, teacher education, and curriculum and pedagogy.
