Dr. Nishu Gupta is a Senior Member, IEEE. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electronic Systems, Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Gjøvik, Norway. He is a Research Fellow cum Visiting Researcher in the Department of Informatics, University of Oviedo, Gijón, Spain under the research group on Systems for Multimedia and the Internet of Things (SMIOT). He is a Member, Zero Trust Architecture working group of MeitY-C-DAC-STQC project under 'e-Governance Standards and Guidelines', Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, MNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj, India which is an Institute of National Importance as declared by the Government of India. He is specialized in the field of Computer Communication and Networking. His major work is in the area of IoT based enhance safety applications in vehicular communication.
Dr. Nishu is the recipient of Best Paper Presentation Award at the 4th International Conference on Computer and Communication Systems held at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2019. He has published 5 patents and more than 42 research articles in IEEE Transactions, SCI and Scopus Indexed Journals. Dr. Gupta has supervised numerous theses at Master level and projects at Bachelor level in his main line of work. He has authored and edited several books with international publishers like Taylor & Francis, Springer, Wiley and Scrivener. Dr. Nishu is on the Editorial board of various Internationally reputed Journals and Transactions. He serves as reviewer of more than twenty SCI indexed Journals and Transactions IEEE Transactions on ITS, IEEE Access, IET Communications, etc. He was awarded twice for Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing by, Elsevier.Dr. Gupta has Chaired several International Conferences and played key role in successfully organizing various international events. He was Conference Chair at 2nd EAI/Springer International Conference on Cognitive Computing and Cyber Physical Systems (IC4S 2021); Organizing Chair at 2nd IOP International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Energy Advancements (ICCIEA-2021). He is in academic cum research collaboration with top academicians and researchers across the globe. He has served as Head of ECE department; Chief Coordinator of Institute Innovation Cell, under MHRD-IIC, Govt. of India at his previous organization, besides holding many other key positions in the academic, administration and research fields.
Before joining his current assignment. Dr. Nishu served as a faculty member in the Electronics and Communication Engineering department, College of Engineering and Technology, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai, India. His research interest includes Autonomous Vehicles, Edge Computing, Smart Wireless Systems, Internet of Things, Internet of Vehicles, Deep Learning, Ad-Hoc Networks, Vehicular Communication, Driving Efficiency, Cognitive Computing, Human-Machine Interaction, Traffic Pattern Prediction, etc.
Dr. Anil Gupta is a Senior Member, IEEE and Senior Member ACM. He has more than 24 years of Industry experience. He received his Master's degree from IIT Roorkee, India which is an Institute of National Importance as declared by the Govt. of India. Dr. Anil is working with CDAC Pune as Associate Director. His research interest s are in HPC, SDN, IOT, 5G, Data Analytics NLP, computer vision, System Software Blockchains, cybersecurity. He has more than 70 publications in various national/International conferences and journals. He has filed five patents in India, and multiple patents are in various stages of evaluation. He has guided more than 15 Masters Dissertation. He also has guided 30+ B. Tech students for their projects.
Dr. Jayden Khakurel (D.Sc. (tech), MBA) has ten years of experience in academia and industry. He has been working with numerous European Union (EU) funded research projects in collaboration with leading research institutes across Europe that emphasize payment, mobility, and healthcare. Moreover, he has been teaching software and innovation undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Finland and the USA.
He currently works with a conversational Artificial Intelligence (AI) using various presentation modalities (text, verbal, embodied with 3D avatar) to support child mental health across Finland as part of the Invest project (project funded by the Academy of Finland). He has extensive experience with user experience research for emerging healthcare technologies, and his current research can contribute to human-computer interaction (HCI), public health, and child mental healthcare.
Prof. Derawi is currently having a dual-career acting as the youngest professor of Norway and an extremely true innovator. He received his diplomas in Computer Science engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU, Denmark) where he received both a BSc (2007) and Msc (2009) degree. In addition, he received the title as the youngest engineer of Denmark in 2009. Derawi has pursued his PhD in information security at the Norwegian Information Security Laboratory (NISLab), Gjøvik University (now NTNU, Norway). In the beginning of his PhD studies, he was a visiting researcher at the "Center for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt" (CASED, www.cased.de), Germany. His PhD research interest included smart mobile technologies and also biometrics with specialization on behavioural biometric recognition in mobile devices. Derawi was active in several European and national projects as well for the since 2009. Today he holds a professorship within electrical engineering and is specialised within information security, e-health, autonomous systems, biometric systems, wireless communications, IoT, digital fundamentals micro-controllers. He is also the head of the "Smart Wireless Systems" Research group at the Department of Electronic Systems (NTNU, Norway).
Prof. Derawi has next to his academic career also been working with truly innovative projects which is also a part of his additional skills. He is a person that identifies the need within an industry, market segment or culture and spot opportunity in it. More importantly, he has also the ability to identify needs before implemented in the market, develop and refine solutions, take chances, push the envelope and create meaning.
Dr. Rakesh Nayak, author of two text books, is presently working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at O. P. Jindal University, Raigarh, Chhatisgarh. He received his Master's degree in Computer Applications from Indira Gandhi National Open University in the year 2007 and M.Tech. (CSE) from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2010 and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Behrampur University in 2013. Prior to joining the computer science department in 2022, he has worked in various capacity in different Engineering/MCA colleges. He has more than 21 years of teaching experience and has guided 11 M.Tech. Students. He has many publications in international journals to his credit.
DR. SRINIVASA KIRAN GOTTAPU received the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY, USA, in 2016. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Texas, Denton, USA, in 2019. He is a Senior member of IEEE. Presently, he is an Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of North Texas, USA. He is working as a Senior Cloud engineer at HCL technologies. His research interests include wireless communications and networks, cognitive radio networks, digital signal and image processing, information transmission and retrieval, and coding and information theory.
