Prince Pollux of Sparta spends his days inebriated and indulging in women. When he's banished to the Underworld, it seems like things can't get any worse- until he meets Despoena, a wild nymph. As war arrives, Pollux is tasked with returning Despoena to her home. But when she flees into the arms of a golden warrior he will need to find his purpose and put jealousy aside.
As the two enemies travel to Olympus, Hecate must put revenge, and her past, behind her in order to save the world. But as Hecate's prisoner grows more powerful, and Pollux struggles with past trauma, victory seems impossible.
