What would you do if you were fifteen years old and you still had no super-power?
Paley Curtis, now fifteen and accepting of the fact that she has no talent in a world where everyone has a super-power, grinds through a summer job with a mysterious company spying on her every move. The days pass by as she learns about those with "super" talents and who has control over them. The persistence of the corporation-which has become too powerful in its capture and detention of super talented people-drives Paley to find clever ways to evade her trackers, while spying back on her personal spies. Finally, she embarks on a risky plan, setting out to find her missing friend and solve the mystery that started in Nonny Book One: UNSHOWN.
Paley may be quiet and unassuming, but her tenacity and bravery puts her on a path to bring about lasting change and justice for her friends, her family, and those unfairly imprisoned.
Adam B. Ford lives in Vermont with his newish dog Bulo, who is about the same size and color as both Teco and Seera, but is far more energetic and whines about going for a walk every day. When Adam's not writing (which is most of the time, really), he might be found in the woods with Bulo, taking photographs, or trying to find the time to complete far too many projects on his computer. He still plays ultimate weekly and snowboards daily-teaching snowboarding at Okemo Mountain-and will continue to do both of those until his body falls apart.
