What would you do if you were fourteen years old and you had no super-power?
Paley Curtis is a smart, resourceful girl living in a world where everyone has a talent, but not her. Maybe she's late, but as the days go by, it seems less and less certain that her talent will show. Then a chance encounter with a crazy man confronting the police sets her on a path to finding more about this man and his "super" talent while coming to realize that her best friend Jen is starting to exhibit a higher-than-normal talent as well. Paley meets new people, digs up new information, and slowly uncovers a depth to talents that few know exist. Meanwhile she juggles her friends and enemies in eighth grade and deals with the increasing pressure of people vying for her time, while living day to day in the poorest part of the city, just trying to grow up. Nonny Book One: UNSHOWN takes Paley from school dances and carefree days to serious decisions and life-altering events. The story concludes in Nonny Book Two: UNFOUND.
Adam B. Ford lives in Vermont with his newish dog Bulo, who is about the same size and color as both Teco and Seera, but is far more energetic and whines about going for a walk every day. When Adam's not writing (which is most of the time, really), he might be found in the woods with Bulo, taking photographs, or trying to find the time to complete far too many projects on his computer. He still plays ultimate weekly and snowboards daily-teaching snowboarding at Okemo Mountain-and will continue to do both of those until his body falls apart.
