Beginning readers can practice the short e vowel sound while learning about the many different animals people can keep as pets.

Tiffany has loved to read for as long as she can remember. She used to hide on the playground at recess to read! Instead of swinging and sliding, she preferred to explore hundred-acre woods, unlock secret gardens, and walk two moons. She has been passionate about the science of reading and helping kids learn to read ever since. She has worked as a reading tutor, first grade teacher, and kindergarten teacher since 2010.
