Although the focus of this volume is on India of 1992-93, yet it provides useful overview of significant developments that took place in the world as a whole. A comparative study of indicators of development with reg ard to 170 countries has, been included. An attempt has been made to provide almost all embracing facts and figures with regard to various factors of development in India since 1947.
