Small is a grain of sand like the ones we find on all beaches. He has many friends like crabs, shells and snails. And when he gets tired from the beach, he holds on tight to someone's foot and sets off to see the world.

Núria Cussó (Barcelona, 1983). She is an engineer and high school teacher with a great imagination. She has always liked to write children's stories. Her passion for reading and writing has led her to publish three titles from the "Learn to Read" collection by Editorial el Pirata. Anna Clariana (Terrassa). She studied graphic design and illustration. She's been working as an illustrator since 1980 in both textbooks and picture books. She has received several awards for her works: Young Painting Award (Terrassa, 1980), Festa Major Poster Award (Terrassa, 1981 and 1996), Children's and Youth Book Hall Poster Award (OEPLI, 1998), Lazarillo Award (OEPLI, 2000), Parcir Award (Manresa, 2007)
