An elephant suddenly finds himself burrowed inside the den of a leopard. Terrified, he asks for help. The leopard, following an absurd logic, teaches him how to escape from the den. Then, to the leopard's horror, he finds himself immersed in the deep sea. Here begins the chain of unexpected and desperate situations where we find many animals acting as "fish out of water." Un elefante de repente se encuentra dentro de la madriguera de una liebre. Aterrado, le pide ayuda. La liebre, siguiendo una lógica absurda, le enseña a escapar de la situación. Entonces la liebre aparece sumergida en el fondo del mar, para su espanto. Así empieza la cadena de situaciones inesperadas y desesperadas en que se encuentran distintos animales, todos ellos "como pez fuera del agua", quienes sin embargo consiguen ayuda de los animales propios del ambiente mediante razonamientos de aplastante sentido común.
