Caring for people affected by stroke can be extremely challenging for the multi-professional team, as well as for family carers. Therefore, every day it is necessary to seek improvement in this area in order to guarantee quality of life and biopsychosocial and spiritual well-being in their daily lives, fostering coping strategies in the face of this health condition.
The authors of this book have master's degrees in Gerontology and Physical Education. They are currently PhD students in the Postgraduate Programme in Neuropsychiatry and Behavioural Sciences at the Federal University of Pernambuco/UFPE.
