This work consists of the development of a concept car based on bionics and emotional design fundamentals. To this end, information about the history of the automobile was gathered, emphasizing the most important product of each era. Also researched were the definition of technical terms present in the automotive industry, along with a quick introduction to the products present in the national and international market. There were analyses of current technologies in the market, or those still in development, with the purpose of helping in the project's evolution. Concepts of bionics were also approached, from the history of its origin to the demonstration and explanation of how important and well-known products today had their projects based on systems and mechanisms present in nature. Emotional design was investigated in order to understand how its influence acts in the choices we make in our daily lives in relation to the products we consume, in order to emphasize how the consequence of this choice will be at the moment of use, as well as to analyze the connection between man and machine and the possibility of an affective bond between the two.
