Drugs present in plants called active principles own antibacterial activities against microbes. In this study ethanol and methanol extract showed higher activity against tested organisms. The supplement of dried powdered entire plant of B.monnieri along with feed will be safe alternative eco-friendly disease control measure than the costly environment deteriorating artificial medicines. The generated data thereby not only provided the basis for its wide uses as a therapeutic but also opened a gateway of sustainable ornamental fish production. The study demonstrated the effectiveness of B.monnieri against A.hydrophila and P.aeruginosa that are associated with various infections especially in ornamental fishes. This has provided justification that if well processed this plant can be used to develop bioactive substance as a precaution to prevent and control diseases.
