The main goal of the present book is designed for studying the interactions collision of plasma beam with polymeric films to induced surface treatments for different industrial applications. The design construction of the plasma source will be investigated; beside the plasma operating characteristics are checked using current-voltage characterizing curves. The optimized operating condition such as gas pressure, gap distance, and discharge voltage and output beam current will be determined. Furthermore, plasma beam profile using an electrostatic probe will be recorded. On the other hand, the modified surface properties of polymeric materials due to plasma treatments will be investigated using different characterizations techniques. TRIM Monte Carlo simulation a program is used to determine the ion range and the sputtering surface collision rate. The project book will show considerable treatments in the polymer surface properties due to plasma exposure beam effects.
