Biografische Anmerkung

The present book comprises three parts, Part-A, Part-B & Part-C. Part A describes the isolation and structure elucidation of three new compounds from Cotoneaster racemiflora Desf. In addition seven known compounds have also been described which are reported for the first time from this species. Part-B describes the isolation and structure elucidation of two new compounds from the whole plant of Buddleja crispa Benth. In addition, three known compounds have also been described, which are reported for the first time from this species. Part-C described the synthesis of macrocycle ¿-sheet (monovalent and divalent Tau peptide) that inhibits aggregation of Alzheimer¿s related peptides.



Dr. Shafiullah Khan is currently Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Gomal University, D.I.Khan, Pakistan. He obtained his Ph. D degree from University of Karachi, Pakistan. He was visiting scientist to University of California,Irvine,U.S.A, working on Alzheimer¿s disease and succeed. His major areas of interest are Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry
