Socioeconomic status is the combination of occupation, income level and decision making associated with an individual¿s prestige in society. Socioeconomic plays an important role in the development of an individual. The increase in socioeconomic status leads to increase in living standard. The improvement in living standard of the people results into the development of the nation. The socioeconomic status of developing countries is less than developed countries due to many factors involved. Socioeconomic status of female is as important as male, female constitute major part in any society so it is very important to find out the socioeconomic status of female, especially working women. Although women participation is noticeable, but they do not have diversity in occupation and job opportunities, women are affiliated in limited jobs. Although working women participation has increased in labor market, yet women are considering inferior to male. They still lack equal rights to male. Women face different type of problems. These problems vary according to the level of socioeconomic class. Mostly women face the problem of time management, lack of facilities and transport problem.
