Thomas Eversberg is an astrophysicist by training and works for the German Space Agency. He specializes in optical instrumentation for telescopes, about which he has authored a scientific textbook. His current research addresses active massive stars. Eversberg also runs a private astronomical observatory for the training of upcoming researchers and, in his spare time, enjoys restoring vintage motorcycles.
