'Red' rages through the bush and across the land, tearing through the country like a ferocious beast. Fire-fighters fight this dragon, but it is hard to conquer. From out of the flames and smoke an injured koala emerges. It is rescued and cared for and bought back to good health, and then returned to the wild. This moving story came about in part as a response to the horrific bushfires that raged in the Australian summer of 2020, and inspired by the heroic fire fighters and animal carers, and is also in honour of the increasingly endangered Australian native animal, the koala.
