Reimagining School Leadership critically analyzes the current conceptions of school leadership and school improvement, consider historical and contemporary problems confronting school leaders and presents new ways to reimagine school leadership with an emphasis on sustainability, learning, and inclusivity.

David E. DeMatthews is a Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Texas at Austin. He is the director of the Texas Education Leadership Lab and holds a courtesy appointment in the Department of Special Education.

Sharon D. Kruse is Academic Director and Professor of Educational Leadership at Washington State University Vancouver.
