Biografische Anmerkung

Lizzie Harris has hair the colour of magic. Lizzie Harris has a nose as sweet as music. Lizzie Harris has arms as wonderful as rainbows. Only thing is, Lizzie Harris won't go out with Sterling Thaxton. Sterling needs help, but who can he ask? Not his friend Doctor Edward Robinson ... that would be too embarrassing. Perhaps a canary would do the trick. Yes, you did read that right. A canary. A very special canary ...

Ross Collins describes his younger self as looking like a currant bun and being very fond of drawing. He is still fond of drawing and is now an award-winning author and illustrator, but no longer bears any great resemblance to baked goods. His picture book The Elephantom was adapted by the National Theatre. Ross lives in Glasgow.
