A little girl upset with her parents due to bad grades, wanders off into the woods. However, these aren't your typical woods, they are alive and talking. After a brief talk and a song, the little girl is convinced that getting good grades and listening to her parents isn't such a bad idea after all.

This is James' first children's book. He thought it would a great idea to write one, because of all the stories he would tell his kids, nieces, nephews, and friends. He also writes fiction, romance, and thrillers. With amazing illustrations and heartfelt characters, James hopes to impact all kids with a positive attitude. The main character in his children's book series "The Happy Woods" is Mr. Tree and his forest friends who teach children about life, discipline, and education.
