Sarah Walsh is a Kansas-based artist and illustrator. She's inspired by animals, magical creatures, coffee, music, a good story, her friends and family, bravery, vintage children's books, folk art, and mid-century anything. Sarah received her BFA in graphic design from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, where she grew up. She spent several years working as an in-house designer and illustrator for Hallmark before branching out on her own and joining Lilla Rogers Studio, which currently represents her. Sarah is the author/illustrator of three Just Add Color titles from Rockport Publishers, Circus, Carnival, and Day of the Dead; Quarry Books' 100 Things to Draw With a Circle and 100 Things to Draw With a Triangle; and Walter Foster Publishing's Playful Painting: People.
