Gary McLhinney is a retired police officer from the Baltimore City Police Department and former long-term president of the Baltimore Fraternal Order of Police. McLhinney also served as Chief of the Maryland Transportation Authority Police and Assistant Secretary of the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. He currently operates a consulting business, representing police unions in collective bargaining matters and political strategy.
