DR KEVIN MEARES is a consultant clinical psychologist and cognitive therapist. He works at the Newcastle Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies Centre which is part of the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. He provides therapy to adults with mood and anxiety problems and offers training and supervision to other therapists. In addition to GAD, he has expertise in the treatment of complex post-traumatic stress disorder.
PROFESSOR MARK FREESTON is Head of Research and Development at the Newcastle Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies Centre, and is a Professor in the School of Psychology at Newcastle University where he leads a research programme on anxiety disorders, worry and intolerance of uncertainty.
