Biografische Anmerkung

Maggie Calahan's favorite saying is, "get a grip." Her friends describe her as an independent woman, sure of her place in this world. All of this comes into question, when she meets Julian. Maggie finds herself drawn to him in spite of all the reasons she shouldn't. Years of shielding her heart helps her keep her feet on the ground as she goes about her very ordinary life. Her letters to Julian, tell him who she is, where she has been and where she hopes she is going. Maggie's story will be familiar to the reader. They will see themselves in her challenges and dreams and hopes.

A native Californian, Annette has traveled extensively throughout the world, looking for "places of her heart." She says traveling keeps her inner compass working and her nomad alive. A Psychologist, she now devotes her time to writing, traveling, photography, her garden and her "critters." A favorite spot in the Copper Canyon area of Mexico provided the backdrop for " Letters To Julian." She is the author of three books of prose, RAMBLINGS, TRANSITIONS, and TIDES 80, and a children's story, VINNIE: LOST AND FOUND. LETTERS TO JULIAN is her first novel. Currently Annette and her five loving, furry companions make their home in northern California.
