Different categories of interest actors in EU governance are systematically compared, assessing whether a common model is detectable across 'functional' and 'territorial' actor types, assessing whether similarities outweigh the differences, where differences can be found, and whether such differences are significant.

This book was originally published as a special issue of Journal of European Integration.
