Heath Rose is an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at the University of Oxford's Department of Education. He is co-editor of Doing Research in Applied Linguistics (2017), author of The Japanese Writing System (2017) and co-author of Introducing Global Englishes (2015). He has published in a number of the world's top Journals, including Applied Linguistics, Modern Language Journal, ELT Journal and Higher Education.
