Sister Lee Naughton is a young Roman Catholic nun teaching at the Divine Mercy Academy for girls in South Buffalo. She gains sudden stardom after being asked to host a relationship advice show on a local radio station. Lee's success makes her the toast of the town even as it brands her the black sheep of her religious order.

Patti Panara has established the Buffalo Embassy to Florida in the Lakeland home she shares with her husband, two teenaged sons and four cats. She is a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy, Lehigh University, Clarion University and the University at Buffalo. Former career amusements include public relations, advertising and marketing for Packard Electric Division of General Motors, Brand Names Sales and the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority.
