Dr. Turner is the founder of the consulting firm, Turner healthcare Associates, Inc. With thirty years in the healthcare field, she began her career as a Critical Care Unit and Emergency Department registered nurse. She has served in top management roles including Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, Nursing, Director of Education, Product Line Manager, and Vice President of Business Development for various hospitals throughout Southern California. She has designed and published the Transitions in healthcare program through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She is the author of The Nurse's Guide to Managed Care. In addition to her Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master's of Business Administration from California Lutheran University. She received her Doctorate in Business Administration at Southern California University. Dr. Turner is on the faculty for the UCLA Graduate School of Nursing and University of Phoenix.
