During the transforming years of the late 1960s and early 1970s, David Chamberlain and his fellow classmates at the Virginia Theological Seminary forged deep bonds with their faculty and with each other. As they wrestled with shifting social norms and made lasting memories, they deepened their understanding of God and began to understand what ministry was really about-all in the shadow of our nation's capital.

After seminary, the Reverend David Morrow Chamberlain married his sweet-heart Patty and together they shared ordained and lay ministry at six different Episcopal Church parishes in four southeastern states over thirty-one years. During that time, they also reared two children, Michael and Carolyn. Today they enjoy retirement in middle Georgia with their two Pugs, Daisy and Molly.
