Hart Evans doesn't know that the school choir director, Mr. Meinert, is going to be out of a job because of budget cuts. To punish Hart for flinging a rubber band, Mr. Meinert makes Hart the new choir director for the class. Now it's Hart's job to get the class ready for the annual holiday concert.
