A powerful, hard-hitting teen thriller on the controversial topic of honour killing by the multi-award winning Bali Rai. When Sat's sister, married off into the Atwal family disappears, her husband says she's run off with another man, and her family disown her. But Sat doesn't believe it, and he's determined to find out the truth. His investigations take him into dark and dangerous territory. Rai's novels "Rani & Sukh" and "(un)arranged Marriage" are both on national curriculum exam reading lists. Ages: 12+

Bali Rai's first novel for young adults, (un)arranged marriage, created a huge amount of interest and won many awards, including the Angus Book Award and the Leicester Book of the Year. It was also shortlisted for the prestigious Branford Boase first novel award. Rani and Sukh and The Whisper were both shortlisted for the Booktrust Teenage Prize. Bali is also the author of the hugely popular Soccer Squad series for younger readers.
