Globalization is having a major effect on the dynamics of the Asia-Pacific region and on the rest of the world. The economic relationship between the major powers of the region, most obviously China, Japan and India helps determine the security architecture of the whole area, and given the rising strategic importance of the whole region globally, of the world.
