Mariappan Rajan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Natural Products Chemistry, School of Chemistry, Madurai Kamaraj University, India. He is an experienced researcher and is mainly interested in developing biodegradable polymeric nanocarrier systems, nanohydrogels, nanoparticles, nanocomposite scaffolds, bioceramic materials, and mineral substituted scaffolds for drug delivery, tissue engineering, spinal cord regeneration, and wound dressing applications. Rajan has published more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, twelve book chapters, and four edited books. He has multiple editorial duties in many reputed international journals.
