Miltiadis Krokidis is a Consultant in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Cambridge University Hospitals in Cambridge, UK. He is a board certified practitioner of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (European Board of Interventional Radiology) by the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) and a Fellow of the European Society of Abdominal and Gastrointestinal Radiology (ESGAR). He has conducted a PhD on the use of covered metallic stents in malignant biliary disease. So far, he has authored and co-authored numerous papers in international peer-reviewed journals and textbooks and he has delivered invited lectures in international forums and symposia. This is his first book as an Editor.
Dr. Irfan Ahmed is Mr Irfan Ahmed qualified in 2000 from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School. After completing basic medical and then radiology training, he did a fellowship in interventional radiology at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospitals followed by a fellowship at Barts and the London NHS Trust and an honorary fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He was appointed as a consultant interventional radiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in 2009.
Dr Sabharwal is Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and the Evelina Hospital and performs both vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures on adults and children.
Has been given the honorary fellowships from the Societies of Interventional Radiology of Europe (EBIR) and from the USA (SIR) for his contribution in clinical and research IR activity.
