Oskar Rieding's (1840-1918) 'Easy' Violin Concerto in B minor is a favorite among students and teachers alike. With its three long and effective movements, it is often the first 'big' recital piece for young violinists, and it gives teachers an early opportunity to introduce their students to easy concerto literature. This new edition of the concerto has been edited by respected violin pedagogue Franziska Matz and aims to support the development of secure tone production and phrasing.
